OUR ETHOS

CABN Foundation

Housing as a Human Right — building capacity, not just homes.

Our Mission

Purpose — Founded as a non-profit in 2021, the Foundation leverages CABN's Core Technology™ to deliver sustainable and attainable housing.

Impact Areas — Partners directly with municipalities, community partners, and developers to support remote, low-income, and Indigenous communities.

Vision — Aims to eliminate housing inequities by 2030, overcoming traditional barriers of cost and location to ensure everyone has the right to live in health and happiness.

Community Engagement & Education

The CABN Foundation focuses on social equity. We don't just ship homes — we build capacity.

The CABN Foundation serves as a strategic bridge from local builders to Indigenous and remote communities. Our ACTT program upskills local workforces in net-zero installation techniques, creating jobs and ensuring long-term operational resilience within the communities we serve.

Transform Lives Through Construction

The STEP Program addresses the skilled labour shortage while providing career pathways for youth facing barriers to employment. Every graduate contributes to Canada's housing solution.

Why Municipalities Choose STEP

"Who is going to build this if we have no contractors?"
— Our STEP graduates provide a ready, skilled workforce.
"How does this help our local social goals?"
— Youth employment + reduced homelessness + local economic development.

Social & Community Impact

01

Healthier Living

Use of non-toxic, biophilic materials and advanced HRV systems eliminates mold issues and improves indoor air quality.

02

Economic Reconciliation

By sourcing Canadian lumber and employing local labour, we keep capital within the communities.

03

Climate Leadership

Our communities act as decentralized micro-grids, reducing the strain on aging provincial infrastructure and lowering utility costs to near-zero.

04

Upskilling & Training

Our education programs transfer knowledge to increase capacity across the country.

05

Better Homes

From 1 to 17 storeys, CABN Core Technology panels and structures are sustainable, climate-resilient, rapid to assemble, and long-lasting.

06

Long-Lasting Communities

Climate-resilient structures engineered to withstand extreme winds (up to 140 mph), seismic impacts, fire, floods, and environmental stress.
