CABN Welcomes Build Canada Homes as Bold Federal Leadership on Housing
BROCKVILLE, ON — CABN welcomes the Government of Canada’s Build Canada Homes (BCH) initiative as a bold and necessary response to the country’s housing crisis. By committing $13 billion to directly accelerate housing supply on public land, the federal government is showing decisive leadership and a clear focus on speed, sustainability, and affordability.
For CABN, this vision is not aspirational — it is already being put into practice. Through our Advanced Manufacturing Facility in Brockville, Ontario, we are delivering Canadian-made, factory-built homes that integrate CABN CORE TECHNOLOGY™: standardized, mass-timber envelopes designed to be energy-positive, repeatable, and rapidly deployed.
CABN has already demonstrated success with projects delivered to clients across North America and continues to invest in research and development on the mass timber supply chain, including advanced testing and quality assurance protocols that strengthen Canadian manufacturing capacity. Our federally supported showhome and turnkey community planning models further prove how BCH priorities can be put into action.
“Build Canada Homes represents a critical opportunity to reshape how housing is delivered in Canada,” said Jackson Wyatt, CEO of CABN. “CABN has the manufacturing capacity, the technology, and the proven models to deliver quickly and at scale. We’re proud that the path we’ve built so far aligns directly with the country’s new housing strategy.”
To maximize the success of BCH, CABN highlights the importance of aligning new housing with infrastructure readiness, regional reach, industry development, and workforce growth. Pairing federal investment with utilities, transit, and servicing will ensure projects succeed on the ground. Supporting regional, rural, and northern communities alongside major cities will ensure equitable outcomes. Expanding modular and mass-timber capacity will strengthen Canadian industry, while new training pathways will prepare workers for modern methods of construction.
CABN looks forward to working with all levels of government, Indigenous leadership, housing providers, and private-sector partners to bring BCH to life. With people, production, and playbooks already in place, CABN is ready to deliver homes that are faster to build, more sustainable to operate, and more attainable for Canadians.
